They begin in the South Seas with Madagascar, and then head over to Bali and Hawaii. Along the way, they have a wonderful time, meeting women and enjoying life -- but they also experience tragedy when one of their friends dies in a surfing accident. Still, that doesn't deter them from the thrill of riding the waves.

Side Out
A law student transplanted to Southern California, Monroe Clark (C. Thomas Howell) serves eviction papers to Zack Barnes (Peter Horton), a former volleyball star. When Barnes learns that Monroe is a recreational player, he offers a few pointers. Monroe and his teammate, Wiley (Christopher Rydell), plan to compete in an upcoming tournament. But when Wiley is injured, Monroe partners with Zack. They're underdogs in a tough field of competitors, but Monroe and Zack feel they're up to the challenge.

No Small Affair

One day, he happens across 22-year-old Laura (Demi Moore), a singer at a local night club, and becomes enraptured with her. While she shoots down his romantic advances, she allows him to photograph her. Using the photos, Charlie launches a publicity campaign for the singer without her consent. His idea does help get her singing career off the ground, but what will it do for his romantic aspirations?

She manages to do this, but, when it becomes clear that the mobsters might want to silence her for good, she sends Oliver abroad and tries to gather evidence of the plot against her, setting up a final showdown.

While trying to work miracles on the wacky lineup, Cantrell butts heads with the uppity manager of the Minnesota Twins, resolving their conflict on the field.
