The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They are part of the Western Division in the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). Founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans, the team relocated to Kansas City in 1963 and became the Chiefs.\n\nThroughout their storied history, the Chiefs have achieved significant success.
