The Blue Eyed Butcher Case
Opening statements began in the State's case against Susan Wright. She was accused of stabbing her husband. She pleaded not guilty by reason of self-defense. The defendant admitted to the fatal stabbings. But for jurors the questions would be - was this a case of cold-blooded murder or a desperate act of self-defense?

Jurors learned about details of the remains of Jeff which was removed from a makeshift grave. The discovery came after Susan Wright broke down and turned herself into authorities after confessing to her lawyer about the killing.
