Underwater cinematographer and explorer Dean Cropp is joined by a crew of young adventurers on an expedition into the most remote, pristine, and beautiful parts of the Coral Sea.
S2, EP1 "New Horizons"
The wind abandons Barefoot on the long crossing from the Coral Sea; it's a slow but spectacular journey to New Caledonia, until the engine explodes and fuel runs low.
S2, EP2 "In the Depths"
Barefoot heads to the other Loyalty islands, Lifou and Ouvea; local tradition demands Dean and the crew seek permission of the chief, which challenges the language skills of everyone.
S2, EP3 "Hunger Pains"
Barefoot heads to Grande Terre to find empty streets and closed shops, courtesy of a local festival; unable to completely restock, they learn local prawn hunting techniques and cook up a storm.
S2, EP4 "Wrecked"
Heading north up the east coast of Grande Terre, the crew takes the opportunity to hike inland; along the way, they discover historic wreck dives and surf some of the best breaks in the South Pacific.
S1, EP6 "Sea Snakes"
Next stop is Marion Reef which is famous for sea snakes, and Lauren, who has a snake phobia, is not looking forward to it.
