Frozen Gold
Six intrepid professional and amateur American gold prospectors drop everything in the quest for a fortune in Greenland. Leaving their jobs, families, and lives behind, they plan to see if this uncharted land really does hold the keys to a new gold frontier. They face rugged mountains, glaciers, icebergs, and storms as they try to cope with the environment and each other as well. Part of the Weather Channel's programming additions to address climate change, "Frozen Gold" will see the effects of warming temperatures in Greenland, including the country's melting ice and permafrost.

Ray and his team come to Greenland with dreams of finding a fortune; against the odds, they build up their mining operation from scratch and finally run pay dirt and find gold when Greenland's weather stops them in their tracks.
