We Are Lady Parts
Written, created and directed by Nida Manzoor, who described it as "an anarchic love-letter to sisterhood and inclusivity", this exuberant sitcom follows the trials, tribulations and joys of an all-female Muslim punk band: Lady Parts. Through the eyes of apparent misfit Amina Hussain, who is befriended by the band's lead singer early on, the group set out to find musical success - starting with their first proper gig - in a whirlwind of fun, laughter and genuine friendship. Meanwhile, Amina is also quietly hoping to find herself a husband somewhere along the way.

Traumatised by her public shaming and shunned by her old friends, Amina hits an all-time low; Noor reaches out and offers to help.

After the gig, the band buzzes with excitement about how the `Yellow Tongue' article could introduce new opportunities. Amina feels more confident and empowered than ever before as she embraces both versions of herself.

Unable to get a gig, and at a low ebb, Lady Parts return to their humdrum lives. It appears they will never get the break that they need.

Amina's double life starts to take its toll when Lady Parts' big audition clashes with Noor's engagement party, where Amina enjoys spending time with Ahsan, at least until Saira arrives.
