Stars shine in Connecticut as Paige Bueckers' No. 4 Huskies (10-1) face JuJu Watkins' No. 7 Trojans (10-1). In last season's Elite Eight, Watkins scored 29 points, but Bueckers posted a 28-point, 10-rebound double-double as UConn topped USC 80-73.
"Ohio State vs Stanford"
The inaugural Bay Area Women's Classic begins as Stanford faces No. 11 Ohio State. The Buckeyes are 11-0 for the second time in three seasons. The Chase Center is the home court of the expansion Golden State Valkyries, debuting in the WNBA in 2025.
"Creighton at St. John's"
The Bluejays return to action when they run with the Red Storm. Creighton's eight-game win streak ended before Christmas with a 70-41 shellacking from No. 1 UCLA. Lashae Dwyer (SJU) is averaging 16.7 points and 3.8 steals across her past six outings.
