Boundless
Adventure junkies Simon Donato and Paul "Turbo" Trebilcock try to prove that boundaries are meant to be broken as they test their limits in some of the world's toughest endurance races. Donato, who holds a doctorate in geology, is the brains of the duo and a self-proclaimed nomad. Trebilcock, a dedicated athlete with a background in running, is considered the heart of the team. Together, they participate in competitions that include a seven-day race through volcanic terrain in Iceland, a 46-mile foot race with obstacles, and a 142-mile run through Cambodian jungles. From running, biking, skiing, swimming and climbing, their love for the rush coupled with their undeniable stamina makes it a wild ride with a few cuts and bruised egos along the way. Endurance athletes Rory Bosio and Hunter McIntyre join the team beginning in Season 3.
S1, EP3 "Hawaii: The Channel of Bones"
Simon and Turbo brave 10-foot ocean swells on paddleboards as they cross the 32-mile "Channel of Bones" between the Hawaiian islands of Molokai and Oahu.
S1, EP6 "Utah: Spinning Wheels"
Simon and Turbo visit Hurricane, Utah, to participate in the 6 Hours in Frog Hollow, a 12.8-mile mountain-biking race winding through gaping canyons and over large boulders.
S3, EP9 "Sweden: Ötillö Swimrun World Championship"
Athletes pair up to tackle a swimming and running race across 26 islands in the Baltic Sea archipelago in Sweden; one team cannot handle the long swimming distances and sea swells.
S3, EP10 "Canada: 100 km Multi-Sport Race"
Simon and Rory take on Hunter and Turbo in the Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race, a competition in Ontario, Canada, featuring 16 km of kayaking, 62 km of road and trail biking, and 21 km of running along the Niagara Escarpment.
