New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling, founded in 1972 by now-retired pro wrestler Antonio Inoki, is the top professional wrestling organization in its homeland but hasn't received much media exposure in the U.S. This weekly AXS TV show looks to change that by featuring some of NJPW's top matches from recent years that are airing in America for the first time. The featured matches involve the company's top stars and include some battles in which the promotion's top title, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, is on the line. The series features English language commentary from top combat fighters and announcers.

"Historic X-Over: Ospreay vs. Umino"

Coverage of the 25th annual G1 Climax tournament featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kota Ibushi, Katsuyori Shibata vs. A.J. Styles, and Tetsuya Naito vs. Bad Luck Fale.
