New Japan Pro Wrestling
New Japan Pro Wrestling, founded in 1972 by now-retired pro wrestler Antonio Inoki, is the top professional wrestling organization in its homeland but hasn't received much media exposure in the U.S. This weekly AXS TV show looks to change that by featuring some of NJPW's top matches from recent years that are airing in America for the first time. The featured matches involve the company's top stars and include some battles in which the promotion's top title, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, is on the line. The series features English language commentary from top combat fighters and announcers.

Shota Umino returns to Japan to challenge Will Ospreay for the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship. Plus, Great Muta teams with Kazuchika Okada and Toru Yano for his last match in NJPW. From Nov. 20, 2022.

Hiroshi Tanahashi faces Toru Yano. The Kingdom defend the IWGP Tag Championship against the Bullet Club. The Young Bucks defend the IWGP Jr. Tag Championship against reDRagon and Roppongi Vice.

Katsuyori Shibata meets Kazushi Sakuraba. Togi Makabe defends the NEVER Openweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii.
