The Obsession of Carter Andrews
Carter Andrews would go fishing every single day if he could. As it is, he can be found on the water with a rod in hand and a smile on his face approximately 300 days a year -- in Panama, the Pacific Northwest, the Louisiana Gulf Coast, Russia and other locations. A former member of Fly Fishing Team USA, Andrews is now a fishing guide who has a passion for the sport that, well, can accurately be called an obsession. Whether trolling bait for marlin, casting plugs for dorado, or busting fly tackle on epic yellowfin tuna, Andrews' desire to find and catch the biggest fish is limitless, as are the accompanying stories and adventures that he shares in this series.
"Our Tales of Tahitian Waters - Tahiti Part 1"
A locale that millions dream about. A fishery that Zane Grey wrote about. And now an adventure that Carter Andrews gets to embark upon.
S11, EP9 "Bahamas Part 2"
Carter heads inshore in the Bahamas.
"Bonne Peche - Tahiti Part 2"
After exploring traditional Tahitian mahi fishing and a program designed to help fisheries remain sustainable for locals, Carter gets to chase some of the famed reef fish located in Tahiti, especially the giant trevally.
"The Search for Blue - Tahiti Part 3"
Tahiti offers many types of fish to pursue, but nothing as iconic and legendary as the blue marlin. It is this species that Carter is closing his trip on, while fishing in the Tahiti Fishing Contest.
