The Obsession of Carter Andrews
Carter Andrews would go fishing every single day if he could. As it is, he can be found on the water with a rod in hand and a smile on his face approximately 300 days a year -- in Panama, the Pacific Northwest, the Louisiana Gulf Coast, Russia and other locations. A former member of Fly Fishing Team USA, Andrews is now a fishing guide who has a passion for the sport that, well, can accurately be called an obsession. Whether trolling bait for marlin, casting plugs for dorado, or busting fly tackle on epic yellowfin tuna, Andrews' desire to find and catch the biggest fish is limitless, as are the accompanying stories and adventures that he shares in this series.
S11, EP1 "West Coast Line Siders"
After living in Florida for a while, Carter Andrews has fallen in love with snook, but on this adventure he discovers a Florida fishery that is truly special for the species.
S5, EP8 "The Pig Pen"
Florida is one of those states that can have a 10 pound largemouth bass in any puddle, ditch, or lake.
S5, EP9 "No Name Episode"
Carter heads to Puerto Rico in search of tarpon and permit, plus bonus species, with No Name Fly Lodge.
S5, EP10 "Make A Difference"
Carter heads to the 10,000 island area of Florida to fish with Daniel Andrews, of Captain's for Clean Water, and Jimmy Wheeler, a local guide. It is here where they look at what has changed in our water ways and how we can all help fight for these precious environments.
