Code Geass
The Holy Empire of Britannia conquered the country known as Japan and now call it Area 11. Its residents lost their rights to self-govern and are now called Elevens. The Empire uses powerfully destructive robotic weapons called Knightmares to ensure control, but someone is about to stand up against it. Lelouch, the black prince, has endless ambition and uses the power of the Geass to build a world based on his ideals. Suzaku Kururugi, the white knight, aspires to justice and strives to live an honest and fair life. This is an English dub version of the Japanese cartoon.

Lelouch, an exiled prince living under an assumed identity, escapes from the military with the help of a girl who gives him special powers; Suzaku, Lelouch's friend in the Britannian military, disobeys an order to execute witnesses of the pursuit.
S1, EP2 "The White Knight Awakens"
Lelouch uses Geass to obtain a giant robot called a Knightmare Frame and leads an attack against the forces of Viceroy Clovis of the Britannian Army.
S1, EP3 "The False Classmate"
Lelouch investigates his mother's death, suspecting one of his relatives orchestrated it; at school, he makes discoveries about a classmate and about a restriction to his Geass; Suzaku stands accused of murder.
S1, EP4 "His Name Is Zero"
Elements within the Britannian military frame Suzaku for murder to provide an excuse for the army to expel honorary Britannians; Lelouch, adopting the identity of Zero, helps him escape and tries to recruit him to the rebel cause.
