Inspired by creator and executive producer Matt Braly's heritage, family and childhood trips to Bangkok, Thailand, Disney's animated series chronicles the adventures of independent and fearless teen Anne Boonchuy after she is magically transported to a rural marshland full of frog people. There, Anne meets the excitable young frog Sprig Plantar; unpredictable pollywog Polly Plantar, the youngest member of the Plantar family; and overprotective and traditional grandfather Hop Pop. Stuck in this fantastical world of amphibians, Anne quickly bonds with the adventurous Sprig and discovers the true meaning of friendship.

The Plantars are ready to hit the road when Anne decides to secure the farm; on the road to Newtopia, Sprig longs for adventure, but Hop Pop's road rules threaten to spoil his fun.

Hop Pop's efforts to be hailed as a hero backfire when he stands up to the wrong family; Anne must put her self-consciousness aside to learn the true way of the hunter.

Feeling unappreciated, Polly hatches a plan to make the family pay attention to her; Hop Pop signs the family up to join the theater, hoping to realize his dream of being an actor.

Hop Pop drops Sprig and Polly off at a trail designed to help them get along; Sasha and Grime must reconcile their differences to escape Newtopia's most skilled warrior.

At a ritzy town, Anne and the Plantars unexpectedly run into an old pal from Wartwood; the family visits a roadside oddities museum where every treasure comes with a price.
S2, EP6 "Marcy at the Gates"
The family arrives at Newtopia but the gates are closed due to a giant ant invasion; they'll have to defeat the entire ant army before they can enter the city.
S2, EP7 "Scavenger Hunt; The Plantars Check In"
Anne, Sprig and Marcy receive a mysterious message from King Andrias; Anne tries to ask King Andrias for help to return home.
