Major Crimes

When "The Closer" came to a close, doors opened for the detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crimes Division, with the biggest opportunity presented to Capt. Sharon Raydor. The captain is now the boss, taking over a department that hasn't forgotten her history of internal investigations targeting them and their former boss, Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson. As Raydor attempts to mend fences and gain the trust and confidence of her detectives -- her biggest foe in that regard is Lt. Provenza -- she leads a unit that works more closely than Johnson ever did with other police and prosecutors to build airtight cases.

S2, EP3 "Under the Influence"

A meddling television writer/producer accompanies Sanchez and Tao on a ride-along to learn about the LAPD.

S2, EP4 "I, Witness"

A material witness becomes the key suspect in a new murder; stress takes a toll on Flynn; Rusty brings a girl to spend time with him at the department.

S2, EP5 "D.O.A."

The squad investigates a brutal murder and discovers dark secrets at the root of a drug bust gone wrong; Raydor's estranged husband returns to Los Angeles; Jack becomes fast friends with Rusty.

S5, EP5 "Cashed Out"

Det. Julio Sanchez's application to become a foster parent is jeopardized by his reaction to a gruesome murder; the Major Crimes Division finds a chopped up body burned to bits in a barbecue pit.
