The Office

This U.S. adaptation -- set at a paper company based in Scranton, Pa. -- has a similar documentary style to that of the Ricky Gervais-led British original. It features the Dunder-Mifflin staff, which includes characters based on roles in the British show -- and, quite possibly, people with whom you work in your office. There's Jim, the likable employee who's a bit of an every man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales-rep Pam -- because office romances are always a good idea! There's also Dwight, the co-worker who is successful but devoid of social skills and common sense.

S5, EP26 "Casual Friday"

Michael must settle a dispute within the sales team; employees cause trouble when they take the term "casual" Friday too loosely.

S3, EP10 "A Benihana Christmas"

Strife on the party-planning committee results in two competing Christmas parties; Michael gets dumped for the holidays.

S3, EP11 "A Benihana Christmas"

Strife on the party-planning committee results in two competing Christmas parties; Michael gets dumped for the holidays.

S3, EP13 "Traveling Salesmen"

Andy suggests that Michael team up the staff for sales calls; Dwight tries to cover for Angela when she misses a deadline.

S2, EP4 "Fire"

A fire in the kitchen causes the employees to evacuate to the parking lot where they learn more about one another than they wanted.

S2, EP3 "Office Olympics"

Michael has a panic attack while trying to close the deal on his condo; with Michael and Dwight out of the office, Jim and Pam organize an employee competition.

S2, EP2 "Sexual Harassment"

When Michael's best friend, sales representative Todd Packer, pays him a visit, Michael starts behaving even more inappropriately.

S2, EP1 "The Dundies"

The staff must endure the excruciating performance of their inept MC, boss Michael Scott, during the annual awards banquet.
