Young Sheldon

For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn't easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand. Sheldon's mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son. For 12 years on "The Big Bang Theory," audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. In "Young Sheldon," audiences get a chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates.

S3, EP1 "Quirky Eggheads and Texas Snow Globes"

After Dr. Sturgis experiences a nervous breakdown, Mary worries Sheldon is headed down a similar path; Georgie discovers he has a knack for sales.

S4, EP13 "The Geezer Bus and a New Model for Education"

When Sheldon refuses to ride in a car after getting into an accident with Meemaw, Missy uses their trauma to her advantage at school; Meemaw is forced to take the church shuttle while her car is in the shop.

S2, EP18 "A Perfect Score and a Bunsen Burner Marshmallow"

Sheldon moves in with Dr. Sturgis for the weekend to see what his life will be like in college; a lonely Mary tries to bond with the other Coopers during Sheldon's absence.

S1, EP4 "A Therapist, a Comic Book, and a Breakfast Sausage"

After choking on a breakfast sausage, Sheldon refuses to eat solid foods; he discovers comic books for the first time.
