The Goldbergs
In the 1980s, geeky Adam uses a video camera to document his family's crazy life. His mother, Beverly, is overprotective and lacks boundaries, while his dad has a hot temper and finds it difficult to parent without screaming. Rounding out the clan are Adam's terrifying sister, Erica; his older brother, Barry, who has middle-child syndrome; and the family's beloved grandfather, Al "Pops" Solomon. Pops is responsible for wild antics, including offering drinks to Barry and teaching Adam about the ways of love -- which create more chaos in an already high-strung family.

Adam's silly antics in class distract his woodshop teacher -- who nearly injures himself; Geoff and Beverly try to become more cultured in an attempt to keep Erica close.
S8, EP17 "Who's Afraid of Brea Bee?"
Beverly involves herself in Erica and Barry's relationships; Adam and Brea are cast opposite of each other in the school play, but their excitement for one another's success grows dim when one starts to outshine the other onstage.

Barry is excited when a modeling representative approaches him in the mall, but Erica thinks it's a scam; Adam tries to mend fences between Murray and his dad.

Barry joins the football team but is quickly benched due to his lack of playing ability; Adam helps Barry understand there are other ways he can contribute to the team; Beverly designs jackets and tries to get Murray and Erica to sell them.
