The Goldbergs

In the 1980s, geeky Adam uses a video camera to document his family's crazy life. His mother, Beverly, is overprotective and lacks boundaries, while his dad has a hot temper and finds it difficult to parent without screaming. Rounding out the clan are Adam's terrifying sister, Erica; his older brother, Barry, who has middle-child syndrome; and the family's beloved grandfather, Al "Pops" Solomon. Pops is responsible for wild antics, including offering drinks to Barry and teaching Adam about the ways of love -- which create more chaos in an already high-strung family.

S5, EP9 "Parents Just Don't Understand"

Adam and Barry don't get the reaction they expect from Murray when they write a song called "Dads Just Don't Care"; Beverly takes drastic measures to change Erica's mind about needing some space.

S5, EP11 "The Goldberg Girls"

Afraid of being alone in her old age, Beverly tries to bond with other moms; Erica gets annoyed at Geoff's romantic gestures.

S5, EP12 "Dinner With the Goldbergs"

Erica warns Geoff about going to dinner with her family, but he insists; by dinner's end, Geoff hits his breaking point.

S8, EP15 "Bever-lé"

When the NFL players go on strike and the football season is threatened, Barry gets concerned that he and Murray will no longer have anything to talk about; Beverly decides to start selling a nutritional product from a sketchy company.
