The Goldbergs
In the 1980s, geeky Adam uses a video camera to document his family's crazy life. His mother, Beverly, is overprotective and lacks boundaries, while his dad has a hot temper and finds it difficult to parent without screaming. Rounding out the clan are Adam's terrifying sister, Erica; his older brother, Barry, who has middle-child syndrome; and the family's beloved grandfather, Al "Pops" Solomon. Pops is responsible for wild antics, including offering drinks to Barry and teaching Adam about the ways of love -- which create more chaos in an already high-strung family.
S5, EP14 "Hail Barry"
Barry joins the football team but is quickly benched due to his lack of playing ability; Adam helps Barry understand there are other ways he can contribute to the team; Beverly designs jackets and tries to get Murray and Erica to sell them.
S3, EP13 "Double Dare"
Adam and Emmy's favorite TV game show holds auditions at their school; Barry thinks Beverly is a good luck charm for his favorite sports team.
S5, EP15 "Adam Spielberg"
Adam decides to film an original script he wrote about Indiana Jones; his passion for directing is called into question; Murray and Barry make a bet about whether or not a cheesesteak sandwich in New Jersey is the best one ever.
S3, EP12 "Baio and Switch"
Beverly volunteers for Hands Across America in hopes of getting closer to Barry and Erica; Adam promises to take his best friend and Dana to the school dance.
