Storage Wars
Garage sales are an old-school waste of time, at least in the eyes of the treasure hunters featured in this real-life series. Each half-hour episode follows a group of bidders looking to strike it rich by buying repossessed storage units. They're at once detectives and gamblers, as they get only a quick flashlight-aided peek inside the units before they decide if they want to make a bid, and for how much. It's a high-stakes game that can pay off big time -- one featured collector bought a unit for $800 and sold its contents for a $40,000 profit -- or leave one sifting through the equivalent of trash.
S12, EP14 "Mistress of the Snark"
In Stanton, Calif., Ivy thinks he's a comic, but the gizmo in his locker is no joke; Brandi and Jarrod make sure that what they find in their unit doesn't stay there; Kenny's vintage entertainment lands him an excuse to meet a cult TV host.
S12, EP16 "Drama in the LBC"
The buyers manage to make a charitable contribution in the neighborhood of North Long Beach; Darrell and Dave wager on who got the better sister locker; Brandi and Jarrod spend way too much, but see their treasure soar.
S10, EP6 "I Learned It From Watching You!"
Rene's daughter demonstrates her great eye; the Schulz-Passantes add to their outdoor options; the Gambler meets the predators.
S10, EP7 "Quoth the Kenny: Kumbaya!"

S13, EP12 "Let My Lockers Go"

S13, EP8 "Breaking Bread"
Kenny treats Perris, Calif., like a European vacation, picking up women along the way; Jarrod's lousy locker doesn't offer him any protection; Rene's tools end up being older than he expects.
S13, EP6 "Queen-baya!"
The buyers get wind of some interesting units in Santa Clarita; Ivy and Isaiah choose quantity over quality; Brandi gets fancy sneaking a unit from everyone else; Kenny finds himself searching for his soul sister.
S13, EP5 "Rules #1"
