The chefs must create a shrimp dish worthy of the Hell's Kitchen opening night menu; the winner of the challenge receives a punishment pass from chef Ramsay to be able to skip a future punishment; both teams take on their first dinner service.

After watching a demonstration by chef Ramsay, the chefs are tasked with perfectly re-creating his take on Caesar salad, which they then need to deliver to him on a scooter.
S19, EP4 "Wedding Bells in Hell"
The teams prepare a post-wedding brunch for 15 couples, with the winning team getting a trip to Lake Tahoe; when one of the chefs is rushed to the hospital, the teams undergo a shake-up, which completely changes the dynamic in the kitchen.
S23, EP9 "Lonely in the Kitchen"
The chefs are challenged with starting their own individual dishes before leaving the kitchen one-by-one; it is up to the remaining lonely chefs to complete their own dishes and also their fellow contestant's dishes using only verbal cues.
