S.W.A.T.

Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. lieutenant, is assigned to lead a highly skilled unit in the community where he grew up. Torn between loyalty to the streets, where the cops are sometimes the enemy, and allegiance to his brothers in blue, he strategically straddles the two worlds. Hondo encourages his team to rely on communication and respect over force and aggression, but when a crisis erupts, these unflinching men and women are prepared to put their tactical training to the test.

S4, EP5 "Fracture"

Hondo is conflicted when asked to be the public face of a new outreach campaign meant to improve the LAPD's stature within the Black community; the team's search for a lone bomber reminds Tan of a difficult chapter in his childhood.

S4, EP6 "Hopeless Sinner"

Chris brings the team into her personal mission to save a teenage girl from a predatory religious leader; Hondo receives troubling news about Darryl; Tan's wedding planning hits a snag.

Hondo reunites with an old flame when the SWAT team works with the FBI to bring in a separatist group that has weapons-grade plutonium; the team worries it will lose an annual law enforcement charity competition to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

S8, EP6 "Hot Button"

When back-to-back shootings at women's clinics leave two healthcare providers dead, Hondo and the team investigate whether the shootings were politically motivated.

A blackout throws the city into chaos, forcing the team onto the streets for an emergency patrol day, which quickly escalates when Hondo and team uncover a terror threat.

S8, EP3 "Life"

The team faces a prison hostage situation, only to be thrown into deeper danger when a bomb explodes, freeing maximum-security prisoners from their cells, including someone with a personal grudge against Hondo.
