Magnum, P.I.

This series makes the most of its Hawaiian setting by sending private eye Thomas Magnum all over Oahu righting wrongs -- at least when he isn't dealing with security at the posh estate (dubbed Robin's Nest) of absentee owner, and celebrated-but-unseen author, Robin Masters and clashing with stuffy British butler Higgins. T.C. and Rick, buddies from Magnum's days in the military, help him out with cases. Magnum is provided nearly unlimited use of many of Masters' luxury items, including a Ferrari.

S4, EP15 "Paradise Blues"

TC and Magnum are unaware an old friend (Leslie Uggams) working as a cabaret singer is in Hawaii to escape drug dealers.

S4, EP16 "The Return of Luther Gillis"

Thomas helps private detective Luther Gillis (Eugene Roche) find his kidnapped secretary (Sheree North) and Higgins.

S4, EP17 "Let the Punishment Fit the Crime"

Magnum looks for a woman's (Kay Lenz) brother, discovering Higgins' visiting friend is on a top-secret mission.

S4, EP18 "Holmes Is Where the Heart Is"

Higgins recalls a visiting friend's (Patrick Macnee) belief he and Higgins were Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

S4, EP14 "Rembrandt's Girl"

A teller (Carol Burnett) traps Magnum in a bank vault where they find counterfeit money she suspects belongs to her forger father.

S4, EP13 "No More Mr. Nice Guy"

Thomas helps capture the mobster responsible for Carol's losing her deputy district attorney post.

S4, EP12 "The Case of the Red-Faced Thespian"

Higgins' accident-induced Shakespearean rantings, a jewel theft, murder and unrequited love take place at a costume party.

S4, EP11 "Jororo Farewell"

Magnum meets a young prince from Jororo who has become the target of terrorists while he is visiting Hawaii to play in a youth-baseball tournament.
