Magnum, P.I.

This series makes the most of its Hawaiian setting by sending private eye Thomas Magnum all over Oahu righting wrongs -- at least when he isn't dealing with security at the posh estate (dubbed Robin's Nest) of absentee owner, and celebrated-but-unseen author, Robin Masters and clashing with stuffy British butler Higgins. T.C. and Rick, buddies from Magnum's days in the military, help him out with cases. Magnum is provided nearly unlimited use of many of Masters' luxury items, including a Ferrari.

S6, EP13 "Summer School"

Robin Masters' 20-year-old nephew, the black sheep, impersonates Magnum during a visit, nearly resulting in death.

S6, EP14 "Mad Dogs and Englishmen"

Magnum uncovers a politically motivated setup after Higgins departs amid rumors of embezzlement and theft.

S6, EP15 "All Thieves on Deck"

Magnum is assigned to guard a valuable artifact on board an interisland cruise ship.

S4, EP9 "The Look"

Saigon's most popular disc jockey (Gretchen Corbett) is threatened while in Honolulu looking for her ex-fiance.

S6, EP12 "I Never Wanted to Go to France, Anyway"

A desperate carnival owner (Clive Revill) asks Magnum for help when several bizarre accidents threaten to put him out of business.

S6, EP11 "Rapture"

Friends think Magnum is hallucinating when he returns from a dive claiming to have seen a boy wearing no scuba gear in the depths.

S6, EP10 "Blood and Honor"

Adm. Hawkes (Paul Burke) enlists Magnum's help to find out who is leaking classified Navy information.

S6, EP9 "The Treasure of Kalanioupu'u"

At Robin Masters' request, Thomas and friends help a publisher stage a buried-treasure hunt worth $1 million.
