Magnum, P.I.

This series makes the most of its Hawaiian setting by sending private eye Thomas Magnum all over Oahu righting wrongs -- at least when he isn't dealing with security at the posh estate (dubbed Robin's Nest) of absentee owner, and celebrated-but-unseen author, Robin Masters and clashing with stuffy British butler Higgins. T.C. and Rick, buddies from Magnum's days in the military, help him out with cases. Magnum is provided nearly unlimited use of many of Masters' luxury items, including a Ferrari.

S4, EP21 "I Witness"

Eyewitnesses TC, Rick and Higgins each report a different version of what happened during a robbery at the King Kamehameha Club.

S5, EP3 "Mac's Back"

Thomas uncovers illegal gambling while trailing a Navy chaplain (Jeff MacKay) who is the double of a friend killed in an explosion.

S5, EP1 "Echoes of the Mind"

Magnum protects a woman (Sharon Stone) receiving death threats; Higgins' reluctant love suddenly agrees to marry him.

S5, EP2 "Echoes of the Mind"

The arrival of a jealous twin (Sharon Stone in a dual role) endangers Magnum's affair with his client.

S5, EP21 "Torah, Torah, Torah"

Thomas aids a rabbi (Nehemiah Persoff) who came to Hawaii with a Torah returned to him by Taiwanese officials.

S5, EP20 "The Man From Marseilles"

France's most famous police officer (Paul Verdier), traveling incognito in Hawaii, asks Magnum to help find a missing heir.

S5, EP19 "Ms. Jones"

Abandoning a grudge with the Hall of Records, Magnum helps a clerk find her husband, an artificial-intelligence expert.

S5, EP18 "Let Me Hear the Music"

A country singer (Dennis Weaver) comes to Hawaii to find love songs by a composer who died in a plane crash 25 years before.
