Cheyenne

Debuting in 1955, "Cheyenne" made history as television's first hourlong western and introduced brawny actor Clint Walker to the world as the jack-of-all-trades loner Cheyenne Brodie. Raised by an American Indian tribe after the death of his parents, the physically imposing Cheyenne calls upon the many skills learned from his past as he wanders the Old West, finding action and adventure at every turn. Like many other productions during the Golden Age of Television, "Cheyenne" had its share of guest stars who would later become famous in their own right, including Rod Taylor, Dennis Hopper, George Kennedy, James Garner, Richard Crenna and Michael Landon.

S4, EP11 "Outcast of Cripple Creek"

Cheyenne takes the job of marshal and gets caught between a man's jealousy and a town's greed.

S4, EP12 "Alibi for the Scalped Man"

Cheyenne uncovers an ancient terror and a new murder while probing for answers to a friend's disappearance.

S1, EP1 "Mountain Fortress"

Cheyenne, Smitty and a band of desperados are trapped in a mountain fortress.

S4, EP13 "Home Is the Brave"

Cheyenne battles a town to learn the reason why a war hero's body is refused burial within the town boundary.

S7, EP13 "Showdown at Oxbend"

Cheyenne rides into Oxbend and lands in the middle of a range war.

S7, EP12 "Wanted for the Murder of Cheyenne Bodie"

Cheyenne tangles with the entire Walton tribe who plot his death.

S7, EP11 "Johnny Brassbuttons"

Cheyenne helps Johnny Brassbuttons prove he did not arrange the ambush of a wagon train.

S7, EP10 "Vengeance Is Mine"

Cheyenne maneuvers to convince a friend that seeking revenge is wrong.
