Watch Local Knowledge with Fubo for $0 Today
Even a little local knowledge can be the difference between making or breaking a fishing expedition. That's the attitude veteran anglers Ali Hussainy and Rush Maltz celebrate on this show. The friends from opposite ends of the country -- Ali is a Californian, while Rush is from the Florida Keys -- explore their home grounds as well as exotic hot spots, seeking out unique aspects and hidden jewels of each destination. They also recognize the characters who pursue a lifelong addiction to fishing and the outdoors. "We want to eat and hang out where the locals do," Rush says. "That is where the real fishing stories are told."
S8, EP1 "Cobia So Cold"
The ability to overcome obstacles and challenging conditions can be the key to success, but when fishing in Key West, cold temps are rarely the hurdle; for Rush and Ali, it's another day on the water where patience and a plan pay off.
"Afternoon Delight"
After an early check-in to Ocean's Edge Resort and a midday departure from the dock, Ali looks to Rush to put him on an afternoon bite of tuna and bottom fish that few other places can offer.
S8, EP3 "Watch Eric"
Ali and Rush invite luxury watch enthusiast Eric Rivera ("Watch Eric") to the Florida Keys to target permit and amberjack in the Gulf.
"SeaSafe Snook: Part 1"
In Grant, Fla., four million clams are being released into the Indian River Lagoon; they are paired with the planting of thousands of mangroves, oyster work by CCA and trash cleanups to help restore one of Florida's most critical ecosystems.
