"Quebec City"

Narrow cobblestone streets, panoramic views of St. Lawrence River, and the French language echoing all around. Tonight Erika Tarantal explores Quebec City and all within a day's drive from Boston. Erika strolls through history, including a visit to the Fairmont Chateau de Frontenac, and she visits Wendake, home to culture and tradition of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Erika takes in views of the city from a kayak; ziplines over the Montmorency Falls; and visits vineyards on the Ile d'Orleans.

From "open barnyard" at a South Shore farm to art classes on Beacon Hill and the Dr. Seuss Museum in Springfield, tonight explore local activities and sites that are family-friendly. Weir River Farm in Hingham allows visitors to commune with animals and nature, while Wheelock Family Theatre is a cultural touchstone for audiences and actors alike. Also a Celtics exhibit at the Basketball Hall of Fame and "Family Night" at the Chez Vous roller rink in Dorchester.

"Main Streets and Back Roads: Vermont's Champlain Islands"

A journey through the communities on the islands of Lake Champlain; a historic inn, quaint birdhouses, and the remnants of a tropical reef. Nicole Estaphan ventures from Isle la Motte to Grand Isle; she visits a vineyard and an apple orchard.

"Medical Journal"

Nicole Estaphan meets a student/musician from the Berklee College of Music who was diagnosed with a tumor that threatened his hearing - and his future - and experienced what he considers a "medical miracle." Nicole also meets a young woman, one of the 1.5 million Americans with lupus, who underwent a new therapy that a local doctor says is a gamechanger. Tonight Nicole brings these and other stories of patients and caregivers who are making a difference.
