Deadly Daughter Murder Trial

Jurors heard details about the crime scene as the State presented its case against her. Prosecutors alleged she planned to kill her mother, Ashley Smylie, as well as her stepfather. Prosecutors also alleged that after the victim was shot, Carly Gregg invited a friend to come over to see the body. The defendant was also accused of admitting to that friend that she had killed her and was waiting for her stepfather to come home so she could try to kill him too.
