A sergeant from the Massachusetts State Police took the stand. Yuriy Bukhenik was the supervisor of the lead detective in the investigation into the death of John O'Keefe. When Massachusetts State Police took over this case, the first thing they did was interview the defendant and impound her SUV. The state police took over this case due to a conflict of interest involving a Canton police officer.
