Killer Or Cover-Up Murder Trial

Jurors saw details about the crime scene through the photos that were displayed in court. Prosecutors wanted to show that it was possible for the defendant to have used her car to kill her boyfriend, John O'Keefe, in a hit-and-run. On the stand was Sergeant Yuri Bukhenik, the supervisor to the main detective on this case. Later under cross-examination Karen Read's defense had probing questions for this Massachusetts State Police trooper.
