Killer Or Cover-Up Murder Trial

Prosecutors accusing Karen Read of killing her boyfriend, John O'Keefe, wanted to show jurors physical evidence that they say linked her to his death. On the stand was a DNA analyst who said the victim's DNA was found on broken pieces from her SUV. The lab test results of forensic DNA analysis dominated this portion of the trial. The State wanted to show beyond a reasonable doubt that Karen Read violently hit her boyfriend with her large SUV and left him in the snow during a blizzard.
