Minor League Baseball dates back to 1901, starting with the founding of the Western League, followed by the American Association and the Eastern League - each of which are still active today and considered the “Triple-A” level of the Minor League Baseball System. They encompass 227 teams across 8 leagues in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. While there is no set number of teams in each league, the number of teams typically ranges from 15-30. \n\nMinor League Baseball is known for its relaxed stadium atmosphere and exciting players.
