The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America and the highest professional level of American football in the world. Los Angeles (8-6) and Denver (9-5) clash in a crucial AFC West tilt on Thursday Night Football. The Broncos have won four in a row after taking out a team nipping at their heels in the Colts, 31-13 in Week 15. The Chargers prevailed 23-16 in Week 6.

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots

The Chargers head east to visit the Patriots. Los Angeles (9-6) all but assured a playoff berth with a gutsy 34-27 win over rival Denver on Dec. 19. Los Angeles blanked New England 6-0 on Dec. 3, 2023, the first Bolts shutout of the Pats since 1966.

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals

The high-octane Bengals host the Broncos. Denver had a four-game win streak snapped following its Thursday night outing with Los Angeles in Week 16. Bo Nix (DEN) has thrown double the amount of TDs (22) to interceptions (11) during his rookie season.

The Rams (9-6) continue their bid for the NFC West title by hosting the Cardinals (7-8). The Rams took a big step with a 19-9 win at the Jets in Week 16. Arizona was eliminated from playoff contention with a 36-30 loss in overtime at Carolina.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

The AFC East champion Bills (12-3) can wrap up the No. 2 seed with a victory over the Jets (4-11). Buffalo's NFL record-tying eight straight games with 30-plus points came to an end with a workmanlike 24-21 victory over New England in Week 16.
