NFL

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America and the highest professional level of American football in the world. The NFL is one of the most popular professional sports leagues in the world, with fans and players from around the globe. The regular season of the NFL runs from early September to mid December, consisting of 17 weeks of games. Each team plays 16 games out of their respective conference and has one bye week to rest and prepare for the rest of the season. At the end of the regular season, the top six teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs are single-elimination brackets, which determine the two teams that will play in the championship game, the Super Bowl. The NFL has a long and distinguished history. It was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association before changing its name to the National Football League in 1922. The first Super Bowl was held in 1967 and has since become the most watched sporting event in the world. Legendary players like Tom Brady, Brett Favre, and Lawrence Taylor are considered some of the greatest players in the history of the league. The NFL boasts some of the most successful teams in sports history, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, and the New England Patriots. The NFL is renowned as one of the premier leagues in the world of professional American football, with an emphasis on competitive and thrilling entertainment. The season culminates in a grand finale, the Super Bowl, which has become one of the most prestigious and highly watched events on television. Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans

The Packers travel to challenge the Titans. Malik Willis, who was selected 86th overall by Tennessee in 2022, stepped up for the injured Jordan Love in Week 2, throwing the first TD pass of his career in Green Bay's 16-10 win over Indianapolis.

New York Giants at Cleveland Browns

The Browns (1-1) host the Giants (0-2). Cleveland bounced back from a season-opening 33-17 setback against Dallas with an 18-13 win at Jacksonville. New York comes off a 21-18 loss at Washington despite keeping the Commanders out of the end zone.

Denver Broncos at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers vie for their first 3-0 start since 2005 as the Broncos bust into Tampa. Baker Mayfield boasts five touchdown passes and a rushing score in helping Tampa Bay total 57 points in victories over Washington and at Detroit. Denver is 0-2.

Miami Dolphins at Seattle Seahawks

NFL

The Dolphins, sans quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, visit the Seahawks. Tagovailoa will miss time after suffering a concussion in a 31-10 loss to Buffalo in Week 2. Miami signed Tyler Huntley on Sept. 16. Seattle needed overtime to beat New England 23-20.

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders host the Panthers. Las Vegas surprised Baltimore 26-23 on the road in Week 2. Andy Dalton replaces 2023 top pick Bryce Young at quarterback after Carolina was outscored 73-13 in losses at New Orleans and to the Los Angeles Chargers.

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams

The Rams host the 49ers. San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey moved to the injured reserve Sept. 14, while teammate Deebo Samuel is expected to be out multiple weeks with a calf strain. Cooper Kupp (LAR) will miss time with a left-ankle sprain.

The Titans and Jets try to get into the win column when they square off in Nashville in Week 2. Will Levis threw a fateful pick-six in the fourth quarter of Tennessee's season-opening loss at Chicago. New York fell to San Francisco in prime time.

New England Patriots at New York Jets

The Jets are free to fly a little higher in their home opener against the Patriots. New York snapped a 15-game series slide last season with its first victory over New England since 2015. Aaron Rodgers led New York past Tennessee 24-17 in Week 2.

Las Vegas Raiders at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens play their home opener against the Raiders. Baltimore fell at Kansas City 27-20 in Week 1 despite Lamar Jackson rushing for 122 yards and throwing a touchdown pass. Las Vegas came up short in Los Angeles against the Chargers 22-10.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions

The Lions host the Buccaneers in a rematch of their 2023 NFC divisional playoff. Detroit prevailed 31-23 in that match. The Lions needed overtime to win a different postseason replay over the Rams in Week 1. Tampa Bay breezed past Washington 37-20.

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley and the Eagles (1-0) return to North America to host the Falcons (0-1) on Monday Night Football. Barkley totaled 132 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone three times in Philadelphia's 34-29 triumph over Green Bay in Brazil.

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott's Cowboys host the Saints. On Sept. 8, Prescott inked a new four-year pact that gives him the highest annual salary in NFL history hours before a 33-17 win in Cleveland. New Orleans faced little difficulty in routing Carolina 47-10.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs

The Bengals try to shake off a brutal Week 1 loss as they visit the well-rested Chiefs. Cincinnati was stunned at home by New England 16-10 in its season opener. Kansas City rebuffed Baltimore 27-20 at Arrowhead in the NFL Kickoff Game on Sept. 5.
