NFL

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America and the highest professional level of American football in the world. The NFL is one of the most popular professional sports leagues in the world, with fans and players from around the globe. The regular season of the NFL runs from early September to mid December, consisting of 17 weeks of games. Each team plays 16 games out of their respective conference and has one bye week to rest and prepare for the rest of the season. At the end of the regular season, the top six teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs are single-elimination brackets, which determine the two teams that will play in the championship game, the Super Bowl. The NFL has a long and distinguished history. It was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association before changing its name to the National Football League in 1922. The first Super Bowl was held in 1967 and has since become the most watched sporting event in the world. Legendary players like Tom Brady, Brett Favre, and Lawrence Taylor are considered some of the greatest players in the history of the league. The NFL boasts some of the most successful teams in sports history, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, and the New England Patriots. The Falcons (6-5) return to action with a tough test against the Chargers (7-4). Los Angeles's four-game run ended Nov. 25 when the Bolts dropped the Harbaugh Bowl 30-23 to the Ravens. Atlanta lost two straight games prior to its bye week.

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots

Indianapolis visits New England. Entering Week 13, Colts defensive players Zaire Franklin, Nick Cross and E.J. Speed all ranked top-five in the NFL in total tackles, with Franklin's 123 pacing the league. Indy is 2-1 playing AFC East foes in 2024.

Tennessee Titans at Washington Commanders

NFL

The Commanders (7-5) try to get well as the Titans (3-8) visit the nation's capital. Washington remains in playoff position despite dropping three in a row to fall out of NFC East title contention. Tennessee outlasted Houston 32-27 in Week 12.

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings

NFL

The Vikings (9-2) face the Cardinals (6-5). Arizona returned from bye in Week 12, but came out flat and lost its NFC West lead following a 16-6 setback at Seattle. Minnesota has recovered from a slight midseason dip by winning four in a row.

Seattle Seahawks at New York Jets

NFL

Geno Smith faces a former team as his NFC West-leading Seahawks (6-5) visit the Jets (3-8). Smith went 12-18 for New York from 2013-2016. Seattle has won two consecutive games, both over division foes, following a 16-6 decision over Arizona.

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

NFL

Houston aims to sweep the season set from Jacksonville in a divisional tilt. The Jaguars try to snap the four-game slide they entered the bye week with, while the Texans look to tighten their grip on the AFC South as they head into their own break.

Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints

The Rams (5-6) try to remain relevant in the NFC West as they visit the streaky Saints (4-7). Los Angeles is one game back after a 37-20 loss to Philadelphia. New Orleans bookended a seven-match skid with two-game winning streaks prior to its bye.

The Lions try to bring some cheer to the Thanksgiving table when they host the Bears. The Lions have won nine in a row to get to 10-1, both feats they had not accomplished since 1934. The Bears have lost all five games since their bye.

Jayden Daniels and the Commanders (7-4) look to get right against the Cowboys (3-7). Washington dropped its last two contests to a pair of Keystone State foes. Dallas is on a five-game skid after another lopsided home loss Nov. 18 versus Houston.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys (4-7) host the Giants (2-9) for a Thanksgiving matchup. Dallas halted a five-game skid Nov. 24, and now seeks its first home win of 2024. Dallas defeated New York 20-15 in Week 4 for its 14th victory in the last 15 meetings.

Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers

The Chiefs (9-1) try to restore order against the suddenly-surging Panthers (3-7). Kansas City's run of 15 straight victories came to an end with a 30-21 loss at Buffalo in Week 11. Carolina owns a two-game win streak for the first time since 2022.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
