College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. The No. 4 Buckeyes (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) look to bounce back as they host the Cornhuskers (5-2, 2-2). On Oct. 12, Ohio State saw its unbeaten season broken up by then-No. 3 Oregon 32-31 before the bye. Ohio State has won seven in a row over Nebraska.

Tulane at North Texas

The Green Wave (5-2, 3-0) roll into this American Athletic Conference matchup with the Mean Green (5-2, 2-1). Tulane dumped Rice 24-10 on Oct. 19 for a fourth straight victory. North Texas has piled up 131 points in going 3-0 at home this year.

Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech

The Yellow Jackets take on the Hokies. Virginia Tech leads the all-time series 11-8, but Georgia Tech won the last battle 28-27 on Nov. 5, 2022. Zach Pyron, who filled in for the injured Haynes King on Oct. 19, totaled two TDs in that 2022 outing.

The Seminoles try to stay perfect against the ACC adversary Blue Devils with a 23rd consecutive series victory. Duke suffered its first loss of the season, 24-14 at Georgia Tech on Oct. 5. Florida State has struggled to a 1-5 record in 2024.

Liberty at Kennesaw State

The Owls deal with the Flames. Liberty exits its bye as one of 10 remaining undefeated teams in FBS at 5-0. Flames running back Quinton Cooley is averaging 109 rushing yards per game while boasting six TDs. Kennesaw State seeks its first win of 2024.
