College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. Some of the most popular current college football players are Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, Ian Book, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, and Jonathan Taylor. The history of College football is filled with legendary teams and players, such as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Michigan Wolverines, Charles Woodson, and Marcus Mariota. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. Georgia Southern at Ole Miss

The No. 5 Rebels (3-0) take on the Eagles (2-1) in Week 4. Ole Miss has cracked the top five in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2015 after thumping Wake Forest 40-6 on Sept. 14. Ole Miss defeated Georgia Southern 37-27 in 2016.

NC State at Clemson

The No. 21 Tigers (1-1) and the Wolfpack (2-1) kick off their ACC slates with this Week 4 clash. NC State has claimed two of the last three meetings after knocking off Clemson 24-17 last year, but has not prevailed in Death Valley since 2002.

Georgia Tech at Louisville

The No. 19 Cardinals clash with the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech improved to 3-1 behind Haynes King's three TD passes in a 59-7 rout of VMI on Sept. 14. Louisville went 7-1 in ACC play last season, but fell to Florida State in the championship game.

The Golden Bears (2-0) roll into a matchup with the Aztecs (1-1) in Week 3. Freshman Nyziah Hunter made a pair of touchdown grabs in California's 21-14 upset win at Auburn on Sept. 7. These schools each won at home during a series in 2015 and 2016.

Louisiana Tech at NC State

The Wolfpack try to regroup as they host the Bulldogs from Conference USA. Then-No. 24 NC State fell to then-No. 14 Tennessee 51-10 in Week 2. Louisiana Tech won its opener 25-17 over Nicholls on Aug. 31 before taking Labor Day weekend off.
