College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. The history of College football is filled with legendary teams and players, such as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Michigan Wolverines, Charles Woodson, and Marcus Mariota. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. NCAAFThe Gamecocks host the Bearkats. Jacksonville State has won seven in a row and leads Conference USA with a 6-0 record. Sam Houston is tied for second place at 5-1. Entering Week 13, Tre Stewart (JVST) ranked seventh in FBS with 1,219 rushing yards.
North Carolina at Boston College
NCAAFThe Har Heels fly with the Eagles. North Carolina has bookended a midseason four-game slide with three-game win streaks. Omarion Hampton's (UNC) 1,422 rushing yards ranked second nationally behind only Ashton Jeanty (BOIS) entering Week 13.
Massachusetts at Georgia
NCAAFThe No. 10 Bulldogs (8-2) continue their march toward the College Football Playoff by hosting the Minutemen (2-8). Georgia put itself firmly back into the CFP picture with a 31-17 victory over then-No. 7 Tennessee. These schools last met in 2018.
