College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. The No. 23 Tigers play the Bulldogs at Davis Wade Stadium. Missouri is 7-3, with all three losses coming to ranked teams. Mississippi State seeks its first home win against an SEC foe since November 2022. Mizzou last beat Mississippi State in 1984.

Tuskegee at Alabama State

The Hornets (6-5) and Golden Tigers (5-5) meet in the Turkey Day Classic from Montgomery, Ala. Alabama State has won four straight meetings, with Tuskegee's last victory coming in 2017. The Hornets outscored the Tigers 84-12 over the last two years.

Kentucky at Texas

The No. 3 Longhorns host the Wildcats. Texas is 9-1 for a second straight season after beating Arkansas for the first time since 2008 on Nov. 16. Kentucky returned from its bye and snapped a four-game slide with a win over Murray State that same day.

Memphis at Tulane

The No. 17 Green Wave (9-2, 7-0) prepare for the American Athletic Conference title game by hosting the Tigers (9-2, 5-2). Tulane plays Army for the championship Dec. 6. The Wave have won eight in a row by an average margin of 28.5 points.

Texas A&M at Auburn

The No. 15 Aggies (8-2, 5-1 SEC) try to stay focused as they visit the Tigers (4-6, 1-5). Texas A&M, tied for first place with Texas, will play for the SEC championship if it wins its final two games. The Aggies meet the Longhorns on Nov. 30.

Purdue at Michigan State

The Spartans host the Boilermakers. Purdue has faced a top-five ranked opponent in three of its past four, and plays projected top-five surprise Indiana in its Nov. 30 finale. Purdue knocked off a top-five ranked Michigan State side in November 2021.

NC State at Georgia Tech

The Wolfpack (5-5, 2-4 ACC) try to become bowl eligible as they visit the Yellow Jackets (6-4, 4-3). The programs haven't met since 2020. Georgia Tech is well-rested after rushing for 271 yards in a stunning 28-23 upset of then-No. 4 Miami on Nov. 9.

Northwestern at Michigan

The Wolverines (5-5, 3-4 Big Ten) host the Wildcats (4-6, 2-5). Michigan has won seven straight meetings, most recently 33-7 at the Big House in 2021. Colston Loveland has led Michigan in receiving yards and catches in six consecutive games.

The No. 13 Mustangs (9-1, 6-0) can clinch a berth in the ACC title game with a victory over the Cavaliers (5-5, 3-3). The programs have never met. SMU, playing its first ACC season, has won seven straight since an 18-15 loss to Big 12 co-leader BYU.

Colorado at Kansas

The No. 16 Buffaloes play the Jayhawks at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas has done Colorado a massive favor following its second straight upset of a ranked foe, 17-13 over then-No. 6 BYU on Nov. 16. Colorado has won four straight to knock on the CFP door.

Indiana at Ohio State

A consequential Big Ten matchup pits the No. 2 Buckeyes (9-1, 6-1) against the No. 5 Hoosiers (10-0, 7-0). The winner will be in the driver's seat for a likely championship-game date with Oregon. Indiana's last victory over Ohio State came in 1988.

Pittsburgh at Louisville

Pittsburgh tries to pause its slide in this visit to Louisville. The Panthers have dropped three in a row to fall out of the College Football Playoff picture. Desmond Reid (PITT) ranked eighth in FBS with 1,419 all-purpose yards entering Week 13.
