College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. The history of College football is filled with legendary teams and players, such as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Michigan Wolverines, Charles Woodson, and Marcus Mariota. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. Texas at Arkansas
NCAAFNo. 3 Texas and Arkansas renew their rivalry at Razorback Stadium. The Longhorns are 56-23 against the Razorbacks in a series first contested in 1894. Entering Week 12, Arkansas' Andrew Armstrong ranked 10th in FBS with 857 receiving yards.
Boston College at SMU
NCAAFThe Eagles visit the No. 14 Mustangs. SMU is knocking on the CFP door after its sixth straight win Nov. 2 over then-No. 18 Pittsburgh. Kye Robichaux ran for a career-high 198 yards in Boston College's 37-31 win over Syracuse on Nov. 9.
Tennessee at Georgia
NCAAFThe No. 7 Volunteers (8-1, 5-1 SEC) try to snap a seven-game slide against the No. 12 Bulldogs (7-2, 5-2). Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson is fifth nationally with 20 touchdowns. Georgia is saddled with two losses for the first time since 2020.
