College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. The most popular college football teams in the country are Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers. Some of the most popular current college football players are Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, Ian Book, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, and Jonathan Taylor. The history of College football is filled with legendary teams and players, such as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Michigan Wolverines, Charles Woodson, and Marcus Mariota. Some of the most memorable games in College Football history include the 1969 ‘Game of the Century’ between the Texas Longhorns and Arkansas Razorbacks, the 2006 Rose Bowl between USC and Texas, and the 2012 BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and Notre Dame. In the end, college football is a game of heart, hard work, and passion. It is an exciting sport that has produced some of the greatest memories and moments in sports history. Liberty at New Mexico State
NCAAFThe Aggies (1-0) seek revenge on the Flames (1-0) in a Conference USA contest in Week 2. Liberty topped New Mexico State in the second week of action last year, and again in the C-USA championship game to cap off an unbeaten season in-conference.
Mississippi State at Arizona State
NCAAFThe Sun Devils host the Bulldogs in a meeting of Power Four conference foes. The Jeff Lebby era in Mississippi State began with a 56-7 rout of Eastern Kentucky. Arizona State nearly shut out Wyoming in its opener, but settled for a 48-7 outcome.
Oregon State at San Diego State
NCAAFOregon State travels down the Pacific Coast to play San Diego State. The Beavers, one of just two remaining Pac-12 members, will play eight Mountain West schools in 2024. Both sides won their season-opening contests in convincing fashion Aug. 31.
Utah State at USC
NCAAFThe No. 13 Trojans soar into a tilt with the Aggies in Week 2. Miller Moss threw for 378 yards and Woody Marks scored his second TD of the game with eight seconds remaining as USC pulled away from then-No. 13 LSU for a 27-20 triumph Sept. 1.

Ohio at Syracuse
NCAAFOhio State transfer Kyle McCord takes the keys to the Syracuse offense as it hosts Ohio. McCord tossed 24 touchdown passes with six interceptions for the Buckeyes in 2023, but entered the portal before Ohio State lost to Missouri in the Cotton Bowl.
