NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

NCAAMThe Wolfpack (5-2) welcome the Longhorns (6-1) for an ACC/SEC Challenge game. The last meeting saw NC State defeat Texas 77-74 in 2011, which followed the Longhorns' 75-54 ouster of the Wolfpack in the second round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament.
Pittsburgh at Mississippi State
NCAAMIshmael Leggett and the No. 18 Panthers (7-1) visit the Bulldogs (6-1) for an ACC/SEC Challenge game. Pittsburgh won the last meeting, 60-59 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament First Four. Leggett averages 18.4 points and seven rebounds per contest.
Vanderbilt at Virginia Tech
NCAAMThe Hokies face the Commodores for the first time since 1977, in an ACC/SEC Challenge game. Virginia Tech comes off a last-place finish at the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament. Vanderbilt is enjoying the best start of coach Jerry Stackhouse's tenure.
DePaul at Texas Tech
NCAAMThe Blue Demons (7-0) and Red Raiders (6-1) meet in a Big 12-Big East Battle game for the second time. DePaul beat Texas Tech 65-60 in overtime in 2019 to cap a 9-0 start to the season. JT Toppin (TTU) averages 18.6 points and 11 rebounds per game.

South Carolina State at Xavier
NCAAMThe No. 22 Musketeers (6-1) try to bounce back from a loss as they host the Bulldogs (4-4). Xavier fell 78-53 to Michigan in the final of the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Drayton Jones leads South Carolina State with 12 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Maryland-Baltimore County at Georgetown
NCAAMThe Retrievers make a short southwest trek to challenge the Hoyas in the nation's capital. Maryland-Baltimore County has won two in a row to stand at 5-4 on the season. Georgetown is 6-0 against UMBC in the all-time series after a 79-70 win in 2022.
Cincinnati at Villanova
NCAAMThe No. 14 Bearcats are 6-0 for the second straight season as they visit the Wildcats (4-4) for a Big 12-Big East Battle. Villanova forward Eric Dixon goes for 25.1 points per game. Cincinnati 6-foot-8 guard Simas Lukosius averages 16.5 points.
Eastern Illinois at Butler
NCAAMJahmyl Telfort and the Bulldogs (6-1) streak into their test with the Panthers (2-5). Butler has won five straight. Telfort, a 6-foot-7 senior forward from Montreal, is averaging a team-high 17.6 points per game after totaling 47 over the last two.
South Carolina at Boston College
NCAAMAn SEC/ACC Challenge match sees the Gamecocks (4-3) play the Eagles (6-2). South Carolina grabbed third place at the Fort Myers Tip-Off by defeating another ACC school, Virginia Tech, 70-60. Boston College comes off an 88-83 upset loss to Dartmouth.
