NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit.
Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US.
NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few.
Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Auburn at TennesseeNCAAMThe No. 11 Tigers visit the No. 4 Volunteers. Auburn prepared for its toughest test of 2023-24 by thrashing Georgia 97-76 on Feb. 24. Tennessee, which has won four in a row, is slated to play four consecutive ranked foes to close the regular season.
Tennessee at South CarolinaNCAAMThe No. 17 Gamecocks (24-5, 12-4 SEC) try to keep their regular-season title hopes alive as they host the No. 4 Volunteers (23-6, 13-3). South Carolina knocked off then-No. 5 Tennessee 63-59 on Jan. 30, its first series victory in nearly four years.
Boston College vs ClemsonNCAAMThe No. 6 Tigers and No. 11 Eagles square off in the ACC Tournament's second round. Clemson defeated Boston College 89-78 on Jan. 13. Quinten Post, who missed that game for BC, scored 30 points in an 81-65 first-round victory over No. 14 Miami.
Missouri at PittsburghNCAAMThe Tigers (5-2) play their second Power Five opponent on the road in the Panthers (5-1). The programs have never met. Missouri won at Minnesota 70-68 on Nov. 16. Pittsburgh guard Ishmael Leggett averages 15.7 points and eight rebounds per game.
Clemson at North CarolinaNCAAMThe ACC-leading No. 3 Tar Heels seek a season-series sweep of the Tigers. North Carolina seeks multiple triumphs over Clemson in a season for the first time since 2010-11 after Armando Bacot's double-double steered a 65-55 UNC win Jan. 6.
Mississippi State vs TennesseeNCAAMThe No. 1 Volunteers take the floor in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals against the No. 9 Bulldogs. Mississippi State exploded in the second half for a second-round win over LSU. Tennessee is 3-0 versus Mississippi State at the tourney since 2018.
Auburn at Mississippi StateNCAAMThe No. 8 Tigers (16-3, 5-1 SEC) try to rebound against the Bulldogs (13-6, 2-4). Auburn has won five in a row over Mississippi State following a 69-63 home victory last campaign, but the Tigers saw their 11-game winning streak snapped Jan. 24.
