NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Miami vs Drake
NCAAMThe Hurricanes (3-0) draw the Bulldogs (3-0) in the first round of the Charleston Classic. Miami is the only school with multiple Classic titles (2009, 2014). Miami last met, and beat, Drake in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Ohio vs Middle Tennessee State
NCAAMThe Blue Raiders (3-1) and Bobcats (1-3) battle in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. The winner plays South Florida or Portland in the semifinals. Six-foot-9 senior Essam Mostafa averages 12.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for Middle Tennessee.
South Florida vs Portland
NCAAMThe Bulls draw the Pilots in the Myrtle Beach Invitational's first round. Both schools are making their first tournament appearance, and own 2-2 records in 2024-25. Serbian senior Vukasin Masic (PORT) is averaging 15 points and five assists per game.
Oklahoma State vs Florida Atlantic
NCAAMThe Owls and Cowboys meet in a Charleston Classic quarterfinal. Florida Atlantic played three frames of overtime in its last two contests, going 1-1. This is the first meeting of these programs since 2006, a 95-50 victory for Oklahoma State.
Siena at Xavier
NCAAMThe Saints match up with the Musketeers at the Cintas Center. Xavier seeks a fifth straight home win to begin the season. Xavier's Zach Freemantle, who missed all of 2023-24 while recovering from a foot injury, is averaging 17 points per game.
Seton Hall vs VCU
NCAAMThe Pirates run into the Rams in the first round of the Charleston Classic. Seton Hall owns a 4-2 record across two previous appearances in the Classic, making the final in 2011. VCU also played in 2011, and fell to Seton Hall in its opener.
Bradley vs Texas State
NCAAMThe Bobcats (2-2) battle the Braves (3-1) in a Myrtle Beach Invitational quarterfinal. Sophomore guard Kaden Gumbs (TXST) is averaging 17 points through four games. These schools are making their first appearances at this event in Conway, S.C.
UNC-Greensboro at Indiana
NCAAMMackenzie Mgbako and the No. 16 Hoosiers welcome the Spartans to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Mgbako, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, has helped Indiana to a 3-0 start by averaging 22 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. UNC Greensboro is 2-1, losing to SMU.

Miami (Ohio) at Michigan
NCAAMThe RedHawks run into the Wolverines. Eian Elmer scored 24 points to go with nine rebounds as Miami (Ohio) moved to 2-1 on Nov. 12. Danny Wolf's second double-double of the season helped Michigan take down TCU on Nov. 15, and match Miami at 2-1.
Colgate at NC State
NCAAMThe Wolfpack run with the Raiders. NC State is 3-0 for the fifth straight year after handling Coastal Carolina 82-70 on Nov. 13. Jayden Taylor (NCSU) has totaled 41 points across his past two games. NC State beat Colgate 77-74 in November 2021.
Texas-Rio Grande Valley at Wisconsin
NCAAMThe Vaqueros play their last road game in the year 2024 as they face the No. 19 Badgers. Wisconsin comes off a statement victory over then-No. 9 Arizona on Nov. 15, improving to 4-0. Badgers senior John Tonje went off for 41 points in the upset win.
Wofford at Duke
NCAAMFreshman phenom Cooper Flagg and the No. 6 Blue Devils host the Terriers. Duke comes off a 77-72 setback against No. 19 Kentucky. Flagg collected 26 points and 12 rebounds in that game, but his two turnovers in the last 13 seconds sealed Duke's fate.
