NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Tennessee vs Auburn
NCAAMThe No. 1 seed Tigers take on the No. 4 Volunteers in the SEC Tournament semifinals. Tennessee seeks its fourth trip to the title game in eight seasons. Johni Broome double-doubled to help defending champion Auburn beat Tennessee 53-51 on Jan. 25.
Alabama vs Florida
NCAAMNo. 2 Florida faces No. 3 Alabama in a second semifinal of heavyweights at the SEC Tournament. The Gators knocked off the Crimson Tide 99-94 on March 5 behind 27 points from Alex Condon. Florida seeks a second straight trip to the SEC finals.
Louisville vs Duke
NCAAMThe No. 1 Blue Devils seek their 23rd ACC Tournament crown in the final against the No. 2 Cardinals. By contrast, Louisville is in its first ACC title game. Duke knocked out 18-time champ North Carolina in the semifinals without star Cooper Flagg.
Creighton vs St. John's
NCAAMThe No. 1 Red Storm look for history when they face the No. 2 Bluejays in the Big East Tournament final. St. John's seeks its first tournament crown since Bootsy Thornton led the 2000 team to glory. Creighton is 0-4 in previous Big East final trips.
Alabama State vs Jackson State
NCAAMThe No. 2 Tigers and No. 5 Hornets hit the court in the SWAC Tournament final at the Gateway Center. Alabama State is in the title game for the first time since claiming the 2011 crown, while Jackson State seeks its first championship since 2007.
Miami (Ohio) vs Akron
NCAAMThe No. 2 RedHawks try to stop the No. 1 Zips in the Mid-American Conference Tournament final. Akron has won 20 of its last 21 contests, including a 102-75 drubbing of Miami (Ohio) on Jan. 25. The Zips seek their third title in the last four seasons.
Yale vs Cornell
NCAAMThe No. 1 Bulldogs (21-7) seek their fourth victory in five Ivy League Tournament finals as they play the No. 2 Big Red (18-10). Defending champion Yale won 15 of its past 16 overall. Cornell has won five in a row since losing to Yale on Feb. 21.

UCF vs Kansas
NCAAMThe No. 14 Knights draw the No. 6 Jayhawks in the Big 12 Tournament's second round. Kansas is 49-14 all-time at the event. UCF bounced Utah in the first round. Kansas's 99-48 win over UCF on Jan. 5 was the second-largest victory in program history.
Montana vs Northern Colorado
NCAAMThe No. 1 Bears compete with the No. 2 Grizzlies for the Big Sky Tournament championship. Montana seeks a record 12th conference title, while Northern Colorado aims for its first. The Griz have won 13 of the past 14, while the Bears won six in a row.
South Carolina vs Arkansas
NCAAMThe SEC Tournament gets underway with the No. 9 Razorbacks (19-12) taking on the No. 16 Gamecocks (12-19). South Carolina hammered Arkansas 72-53 in the regular season, and dispatched the Hogs 80-66 in the second round of the 2024 SEC tourney.
Virginia vs Georgia Tech
NCAAMThe No. 8 seed Yellow Jackets collide with the No. 9 Cavaliers in the second round of the ACC Tournament. The winner plays No. 1 Duke in the quarterfinals. Virginia defeated Georgia Tech 75-61 on Feb. 8 for its 13th straight series victory.
Notre Dame vs North Carolina
NCAAMThe No. 5 seed Tar Heels (20-12) face the No. 12 Fighting Irish (15-17) in the second round of the ACC Tournament. North Carolina missed a golden opportunity to impress the NCAA selection committee with an 82-69 loss against rival Duke on March 8.
Indiana vs Oregon
NCAAMThe No. 8 seed Ducks take on the No. 9 Hoosiers in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. The winner plays No. 1 Michigan State in the quarterfinals. Big Ten newcomer Oregon has won seven in a row, including a 73-64 decision over Indiana.
Iowa State vs BYU
NCAAMThe No. 4 Cougars collide with the No. 5 Cyclones in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals. BYU beat Iowa State 88-85 in a double-overtime thriller on March 4 to secure the fourth seed. Iowa State advanced with a 76-56 victory over Cincinnati.
