\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Texas at LSU

The Longhorns (14-7, 3-5 SEC) visit the Tigers (12-8, 1-6) in Louisiana. Texas defeated LSU 96-85 at the Toyota Center in Houston last season. A buzzer-beater miss meant Texas fell 72-69 to No. 23 Ole Miss on Jan. 29, ending a two-game win streak.

Stanford at SMU

The Mustangs and Cardinal link up for the first time as ACC combatants in the Lone Star State. SMU claimed a home-and-home set against Stanford in 2015 and 2016 to even the all-time series at 2-2. The Cardinal are 3-3 in true road games in 2024-25.

North Carolina at Duke

Cooper Flagg gets his first taste of the Duke-North Carolina rivalry as his No. 2 Blue Devils host. Flagg has been the driving force behind Duke's 14-game win streak. The freshman leads the Blue Devils in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks.

Colgate at Lehigh

The Raiders go for the season-series sweep of the Mountain Hawks in Patriot League play. Colgate made it 13 wins in its last 14 against Lehigh on Jan. 8. Jeff Woodward notched a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double to pace the Raiders' 67-62 win.

Virginia at Pittsburgh

The Cavaliers take on the Panthers in ACC action. After dropping 12 of the first 13 meetings with Virginia since joining the conference, Pittsburgh has won the last two. Ishmael Leggett scored 13 points for Pitt in last season's 74-63 upset victory.

North Carolina Central at Norfolk State

The Eagles descend on Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall ready to face the Spartans. Norfolk State won the last meeting with North Carolina Central 80-74 on Feb. 19, 2024. Kuluel Mading (NORF) totaled 22 points in two games versus NC Central in 2023-24.

College of Charleston at William & Mary

The Cougars (17-5, 7-2 CAA) aim to extend their recent dominance of the Tribe (13-9, 7-2). Charleston has won six in a row against William & Mary, including a pair of contests last season. The Tribe are 4-0 at home versus conference foes in 2024-25.

Iowa State at Kansas

The Jayhawks host a rematch with the Cyclones. Kansas leads the all-time series 190-69, but Iowa State has won three of the past four after a 74-57 decision Jan. 15. Curtis Jones (ISU) torched Kansas for 25 points with five 3-pointers.

The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions meet for a Big Ten contest. Ohio State ended a three-game drought versus Penn State during the last get-together in 2023-24. Ace Baldwin Jr. (PSU) averaged 17 points and 9.6 assists across his past five home dates.

Wake Forest at Louisville

The Demon Deacons (15-5, 7-2 ACC) try to cool off the streaking No. 21 Cardinals (15-5, 8-1). Louisville grabbed its ninth straight victory by topping SMU 98-73 on Jan. 21. Wake Forest's own six-game run was halted in a 63-56 loss to Duke on Jan. 25.

Virginia Tech at Florida State

The Seminoles target a fourth straight win at home when they host the Hokies. Florida State earned an 86-76 decision over Virginia Tech in the second round of last year's ACC Tournament after the schools split their regular-season matchups.

Oregon at UCLA

The No. 16 Ducks are out for revenge as they visit the Big Ten rival Bruins. Then-No. 12 Oregon started the season 9-0 before losing to UCLA 73-71. Bruins junior guard Dylan Andrews banked in a 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining in that game.

California at SMU

The Golden Bears visit the Mustangs. Jeremiah Wilkinson is averaging 19.7 points during California's current three-game win streak. SMU has won four of its past five, with junior guard Boopie Miller providing 5.8 assists per game in that stretch.

Yale at Princeton

The Bulldogs (11-6, 4-0 Ivy) put their five-game win streak on the line against the Tigers (14-5, 3-1). Yale forward Nick Townsend has averaged 17.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game during the run. Princeton boasts a 6-2 mark at home this season.
