NCAAM
College Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. Each NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. NCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. Overall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Miami (Ohio) vs Akron
NCAAMThe No. 2 RedHawks try to stop the No. 1 Zips in the Mid-American Conference Tournament final. Akron has won 20 of its last 21 contests, including a 102-75 drubbing of Miami (Ohio) on Jan. 25. The Zips seek their third title in the last four seasons.
Grand Canyon vs Utah Valley
NCAAMThe No. 1 Wolverines and No. 2 Lopes battle it out for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament crown. Grand Canyon has made six of the last seven finals and won its last three. This is Utah Valley's first WAC championship game appearance.
Creighton vs St. John's
NCAAMThe No. 1 Red Storm look for history when they face the No. 2 Bluejays in the Big East Tournament final. St. John's seeks its first tournament crown since Bootsy Thornton led the 2000 team to glory. Creighton is 0-4 in previous Big East final trips.
Louisville vs Duke
NCAAMThe No. 1 Blue Devils seek their 23rd ACC Tournament crown in the final against the No. 2 Cardinals. By contrast, Louisville is in its first ACC title game. Duke knocked out 18-time champ North Carolina in the semifinals without star Cooper Flagg.
Yale vs Cornell
NCAAMThe No. 1 Bulldogs (21-7) seek their fourth victory in five Ivy League Tournament finals as they play the No. 2 Big Red (18-10). Defending champion Yale won 15 of its past 16 overall. Cornell has won five in a row since losing to Yale on Feb. 21.
George Mason vs VCU
NCAAMThe No. 1 Rams (27-6) face the No. 2 Patriots (26-7) for the Atlantic 10 Tournament title. VCU has won 11 of its last 12, and makes its ninth finals appearance in 12 attempts. George Mason has won four straight, but lost to VCU 70-54 on Feb. 22.
Tennessee vs Florida
NCAAMThe No. 2 Gators (29-4) seek atonement in the SEC Tournament final against the No. 4 Volunteers (27-6). Florida reached the 2024 title game but fell 86-67 to Auburn, leaving it without a crown since 2014. The teams split their regular-season series.

Notre Dame vs North Carolina
NCAAMThe No. 5 seed Tar Heels (20-12) face the No. 12 Fighting Irish (15-17) in the second round of the ACC Tournament. North Carolina missed a golden opportunity to impress the NCAA selection committee with an 82-69 loss against rival Duke on March 8.
Indiana vs Oregon
NCAAMThe No. 8 seed Ducks take on the No. 9 Hoosiers in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. The winner plays No. 1 Michigan State in the quarterfinals. Big Ten newcomer Oregon has won seven in a row, including a 73-64 decision over Indiana.
Iowa State vs BYU
NCAAMThe No. 4 Cougars collide with the No. 5 Cyclones in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals. BYU beat Iowa State 88-85 in a double-overtime thriller on March 4 to secure the fourth seed. Iowa State advanced with a 76-56 victory over Cincinnati.
Arkansas vs Ole Miss
NCAAMThe No. 8 Rebels face the No. 9 Razorbacks in the second round of the SEC Tournament. Malik Dia (MISS) scored 21 points in a win at Arkansas on Jan. 8. Arkansas ousted South Carolina in its opener. The winner draws No. 1 Auburn in the quarterfinals.
Northwestern vs Wisconsin
NCAAMThe No. 5 Badgers tip off with the No. 13 Wildcats in the Big Ten Tournament's second round. Wisconsin has won three straight meetings after a 75-69 verdict at Northwestern on Feb. 1. John Tonje (WISC) netted 27 points. The winner faces No. 4 UCLA.
San Jose State vs New Mexico
NCAAMThe Lobos (25-6) face the upset-minded Spartans (15-18) in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals. No. 1 New Mexico and No. 8 San Jose State split the season series. Lobos junior guard Donovan Dent averages 20.4 points and 6.5 assists per game.
