\n\nCollege Basketball, also known as NCAA Basketball, is the highest level of basketball competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. College Basketball teams are made up of student-athletes attending institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the most popular sports in the country, with some of the most renowned NCAA Basketball teams including Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, Syracuse, and Louisville. College Basketball is noted for its competitive intensity and passion that the student-athletes exhibit. \n\nEach NCAA Basketball season consists of a regular season with each team playing approximately 3-4 conferences games and 20-25 games outside of the conference. The season is then capped off with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, commonly referred to as the “Big Dance” or the “March Madness”, where 68 teams compete in single-elimination bracket to determine the Division I National Champion. This tournament remains one of the most popular sporting events in the United States and is often the most “bet on” event of the year in the US. \n\nNCAA Basketball has a long and rich history dating back to its first recorded game in 1892 and only getting more popular as the years went on. Some of the big names that have graced the NCAA Basketball courts over the years include: Lew Alcindor (renamed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once converted to Islam), Bill Walton, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James; to name a few. \n\nOverall, college basketball continues to remain one of the most popular sports in the US, with intense rivalries and passion for the sport fueling the culture of the competition. NCAA Basketball season excites fans and players alike every year, as they hope for a sweet victory in the tournament and the chance to take home a National Championship.

Indiana at Iowa

The Hoosiers (13-3, 4-1 Big Ten) bring a five-game win streak into a date with the Hawkeyes (11-4, 2-2). Former Arizona center Oumar Ballo averaged 24 points and 10.5 rebounds in Indiana's last two victories. Iowa is 9-1 at home this season.

The streaking Yellow Jackets (8-7, 2-2 ACC) visit the Orange (6-8, 0-3). Georgia Tech has triumphed in three straight contests, including conference wins over Notre Dame and Boston College. Syracuse is 4-3 at home against Georgia Tech since 2014.

SMU at North Carolina

The Tar Heels run with the Mustangs. North Carolina needed a last-second four-point play to get past Notre Dame 74-73 on Jan. 4. Ian Jackson (UNC) is averaging 25 points per game across his past four outings after providing 27 in that win.

Pittsburgh at Duke

The No. 4 Blue Devils (12-2, 4-0) host the Panthers (12-2, 3-0) for an ACC contest. Last season, Pittsburgh scored just its third win in 14 tries against Duke since joining the ACC. Duke has won eight in a row, while Pitt has claimed five straight.

UNC-Greensboro at UT-Chattanooga

The Mocs (9-6, 1-1 SoCon) try to slow up the Spartans (9-6, 2-0). UNC Greensboro's three-game run includes wins over conference foes Wofford and Furman. Trey Bonham went off for 31 points as Chattanooga beat UNCG 89-61 in the last meeting.
